If you haven't tried these yet, they are just ok. I really didn't like the sstrawberry llemonade. It had a really bad aftertaste. The raspberry pomegranate was drinkable. I haven't tried the orange one. In my opinion, coffee and sparkling juice don't mix well together - but they are worth a try if they are free?

Free Wet 'n Wild and Cheap Charcoal at Walgreens

Walgreens has Wet 'n Wild cosmetics on sale for $0.99. There was a coupon in the 5/13 Redplum for $1 off any Wet 'n Wild product. Woo Hoo! So that means free make-up, Ladies! I got two free nail polishes and two lip glosses yesterday. The sale runs through 5/19.

Walgreens also has Kingsford Charcoal on sale for $5.49, which is a good price. I printed a coupon for $2 off, so I had to pick that up for my man as well. Go to Grilling.com to register and print your coupons.

Also, Dove candy bars are on sale for $0.50 each. There is a coupon you can print here for $0.50 off 2 bars, which makes them only $0.25 each. These are so yummy.

This was a decent trip for under $5.00.

Extreme Couponing Tip - Keep All of Your Coupons

I know many of you are looking through the coupon inserts and thinking, "There are so many coupons I won't use." You don't have to use all of them. But you do have to keep all of them. You certainly don't need five bottles of Ex-Lax. However, if Ex-Lax goes on sale for $3.00 at Publix. There is a $2.00 off manufacturer coupon and a $2.00 Publix coupon to stack with, so you are actually making $1.00 for every Ex-Lax you buy. At Publix (or Walmart) you can use the overage to apply towards your other groceries that you don't have coupons for.

I clip all the coupons that I know I will use and put them in my binder. But I keep every coupon and stash the others in a big fat envelope, just in case a sale comes along. I do wind up buying alot of vitamins and medicine, which I donate to our local nursing home, shelter or church. Start paying close attention to the Green Advantage Flyer at Publix. That's where you are going to find your high value coupons to stack with for overages.
These flyers can be found in the front of the store, or sometimes they are behind the customer service desk. Vitamins, medicine and make-up are typically the products that you will get an overage for, but there are also alot of good match-ups for free things too. I've gotten free bodywash, shampoo, hair color.

Free Coupons From P&G - Sign Up Today

Request your FREE Gather Together P&G coupon booklet. You will need to register first. This coupon booklet is filled with over $25 in high value P&G coupons! You’ll get coupons for Cascade, Dawn, Febreze and various other P&G brand products.

My favorite deal out of this book is the Cascade coupons. You can usually pick up the travel size action packs (4 count) at Target pretty cheap, around $1.00. The coupons are usually for at least $0.50 off one, with no size restrictions. Obviously, if the coupons are for $1.00/1 then they are free! At my Target these are in the regular aisle where dish detergents are, not in the travel section.

* Allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.

Extreme Couponing Tip: How To Stack Coupons At Target

Target will mail store coupons to your house if you sign up for their mailing list, or you can print store coupons on their website. You can only print two of each coupon per computer. It's a little tricky to tell the difference on the website between the store coupons and the manufacturer. Here's a trick! If it's a manufacturer coupon the wording will say "when you buy". The store coupons say "with the purchase of".
Target will allow you to stack one target store coupon and one manufacturer coupon per item. The great thing about Target is that they also have coupons for clothing, toys, bedding and pretty much anything they sell at Target. This comes in really handy at Christmas time.
The other day I found a tank top on clearance for $4.50, which is a good price already. I had a target store coupon printed from the Internet for $3.00 off, which made my oop (out of pocket) on $1.50!
Gold'n'Plump chicken drumsticks were also on sale for $2.99each.
I had two manufacturer coupons for $1.00 off one product,
and I stacked two store coupons for $1.50 off one product.
I got two packages of fresh chicken for $1.00! How awesome is that!
Alot of the Target coupons are for Target-brand products, Market Pantry or Up & Up. I highly recommend the Target brand, and if you use these coupons you can score alot of things for FREE or close to FREE!
Up and Up Aluminum Foil is $0.49 (35 feet)
There is a coupon for $0.50  off one = FREE
Market Pantry Chicken Burritos $0.89
Use $1.50 off two Market Pantry Chicken items = $0.28
Up and Up Nail Polish Remover $0.49
Use $0.50 off one = FREE
Market Pantry Fruit Snacks $1.69
Use $1.00 off two Market Pantry Snack Items = $2.38 for two or $1.19 each
I love Target, maybe a little too much. I always shop there with a list, so I don't get distracted by all the other wonderful things they have that are NOT on sale. I only buy the things on my list and I force myself to leave.

Extreme Couponing Tip: How to Stack Coupons At Walgreens

You can find the Walgreens store coupons in the front of the store where the store flyers are. They print out a new booklet every month. They also have coupons in their flyer. They will also allow you to stack a store coupon and a manufacturer coupon on one item. It does get a little tricky at Walgreens though, and it's super easy to get frustrated if you are a beginner. Actually, I take that back. I still get frustrated with them.

You have to hand over the store coupons first or their register will emit a dreaded beep. You have to make sure you are purchasing as many items as you have coupons for, or none will be accepted.
You are purchasing two Glade candles which are on sale two for $5.00.
There is a Walgreens coupon for $1.00 off two items - have the cashier scan this first!
Then hand over your manufacturer coupons. You have two $1.00 off one item.
You have three coupons, but only two items, so you need a filler. (Fillers are cheap items and Walgreens has alot of them. I usually grab a taffy at the counter which are 15 cents, or typically they will have tomato sauce on sale for 39 cents.  If you are using a filler in their weekly ad that has coupon, make sure the cashier scans that too or you won't get the sale price.)
So, you got your candles and a yummy taffy for $2.15 plus tax or around $1 each.
Walgreens has a program called Register Rewards, which is alot like Extra Care Bucks at CVS. After you make your purchase the register reward will be printed on your receipt. You can use it for another transaction right away, BUT.....Walgreens has some restrictions. You can't use it for the same item you just purchased, or for any other item made by the same manufacturer. So if you bought Schick razors and are trying to use the register reward for Schick shaving cream, it won't work. They also won't let you use it on dairy, tobacco, lotto, gift cards......so make sure to read the restrictions printed on the reward. They will let you use it on newspapers. On Sundays, I like to buy something at Walgreens with a reward, and then I can get more Sunday papers for FREE!

Extreme Couponing Tip: How to Stack Coupons at CVS

CVS is my favorite drug store to shop at. They are by far the most coupon-friendly, so if you are a beginner start here! In the front of the store there is a magic coupon machine. You scan your CVS card and it prints out store coupons every day. Make sure to scan your card in the machine until the screen says, "Sorry, no more coupons today". The magic coupon machine will print off coupons for FREE items, or 25% off your next purchase, or even Extra Bucks. Oh, there are so many magical possibilities. You can also print out CVS store coupons on their website.
So, let's say M&M's are on sale 2 for $4.
You have two $1 off 1 item manufacturer coupons
and stack two $1 off one item CVS store coupons.
You can use all four coupons, which will make your M&M's FREE!
And, the best part is that CVS will have Extra Buck Offers every week. So if they are offering one extra buck if you buy two M&M's, you will receive a printed "buck" after your purchase on the store receipt that can be applied to your next one, which makes your M&M's more than FREE!
If you don't have a CVS card apply for one now. It is free. Also ask to purchase a Green Bag Tag. They cost $1, but every four times your green tag is scanned you get one extra buck, so this pays for itself. You can only scan your Green Bag Tag once per day. You can scan your regular CVS card multiple times. CVS allows you to use your Extra bucks right away. So if you know that gum is on sale for $1.00, you can do another transaction after you buy the M&M's, and use your ECB to get the gum for free too! There are way less restrictions on ECB's than RR's (Register Rewards at Walgreens). You can apply as many ECB's as you want, pretty much on anything in the store, except alcohol and cigarettes. I like to use my ECB's on milk or other staples that there usually aren't coupons for.

Extreme Couponing Lingo - What Up With That?

Couponing for beginners can be confusing. I've told you to follow the blogs on Facebook and sign up for their mailing lists, but what do all those abbreviations mean? Below is a handy-dandy guide to refer to.

There are four main coupon inserts that you'll see in the paper:
  • SS:  Smart Source
  • RP:  Red Plum
  • P&G: Proctor & Gamble
  • GM: General Mills
Coupon Definitions:
  • BOGO:  Buy One, Get One Free
  • B1G2:  Buy One, Get Two Free
  • B2G1: Buy Two, Get One Free
  • $1/1: You will receive $1 off of just one item
  • $2/1:  Receive $2 off of one item
  • IP: Internet Printable Coupon
  • Q’s: short for Coupons
  • Blinkie:  The coupons that come out of the little coupon machines in the grocery aisles. The stores usually swap these out once a week.
  • Peelie – Peel-off Coupons found right on the boxes of products.
  • Catalina (also referred to as CAT):  This is a coupon that prints out after you check out at the register. Don’t throw these away! For awhile Winn Dixie was printing off catalinas for $10 off your next purchase of $50 or more. If Publix accepts Winn Dixie as a competitor you can head over to Publix (along with your other coupons and save BIG! Around Christmas time Target was also printing high-value catalinas that could be used at Publix. I got $20 off $100! Walgreens also prints off high value catalinas for their upcoming sales.
  • WYB: When You Buy
  • OOP: (Money paid) Out of Pocket
  • Exp.: Expiration Date
  • Overage: When a coupon is more than free! At Publix you can apply overages towards other purchases.
  • Stacking: Matching a store coupon with a manufacturer coupon for one product. At Target you can stack Target store coupons with manufacturer coupons, so you are using two coupons on one product. Publix will allow you to use up to four coupons on a Buy One Get One Free sale. If Keebler Crackers are BOGO you can use two manufacturer coupons and two store coupons!
  • Doubling: Some regions allow any coupon under $1.00 to double. Unfortunately, the stores in Florida don't do this :( Coupons for $0.50 double to a $1.00/ $0.75 to $1.50.
  • Fillers: Cheap items you need to purchase to get to a coupon savings amount. You will use fillers at the drug stores, mainly Walgreens or CVS. I usually buy candy that is on sale. We have way too much candy in our house!
  • ECBs:  Extra Care Bucks – These is money printed after you make a purchase for certain products attached to your receipt. Don't ever throw these away!
  • RR: Register Rewards is Walgreen’s version of giving you cash rewards on your next purchase. Attached to your receipt as well.
