This is a pretty good week at Walgreens. There are lots of RR's (register rewards) for products I need to buy anyway. So here's what I did so far. I may go back later this week for more Pop-Tarts because my kids can't eat enough of them!
Transaction #1
Buy 12 oz Complete Multi-purpose Solution $7.99 - $1/1 from 4/29 SS (Smartsource)
Paid $7.47 out of pocket and got back $8RR
Transaction #2
Buy 1 Finish Dishwasher Tabs 20 ct $3.49 - $0.75/1 from 4/22 SS + $1.50 RR
Buy 3 Pepperidge Farm Mint Milanos Cookies 2.8 oz $0.99 - 3 $0.60/1 5/6 SS
(These are the small 7 ct boxes in the candy aisle)
Buy 2 Kellogs Pop Tarts 2/$5 - $1/2 printed from here + $2 RR
Total before coupons is $11.67
Use your RR $8.00 and your coupons which takes off add'l $3.55
Pay $0.12 cents out-of-pocket and get back a $1.50 RR and $2 RR
I used my rewards in two more separate transactions to buy more Sunday papers, because you can never have enough coupons!!!!! So I paid $8 for $24 worth of products. That's a 67% savings, which is not too bad.
